B/c I just thought that I needed to start keeping track of the color combos that I am now making just incase lol!

I just take pictures of all the different ones I make.
I only fish on days that start with T, like tuesday, thursday, today, and tomorrow.

I take pics of the REALLY cool ones... Everything else gets thrown in a jig box and tried out. If one works, I may just take a cell phone pic with it hanging out of a fish if I really need to remember.

I am not good with cameras so I just take index cards cut to fit what ever I store in and when I get thru with a pattern I write the head color body color and tail color down and put it with the jig. I always keep a sample in case a fish or tree takes my last one.

There are so many color combos they are just endless. I guess you just remember the best ones that work for you at different times. And if you can't start writing them down.
