    Default Jig Tying Video

Okay we have some new people here on the tying board so thought I would post my little test video again just for kicks and maybe it will help someone. It's not a long video and no explaining the steps or anything like that. This was just to see how it would come out. Also this was done using a Nor Vise with the fine point jaws.

It's so much of a test you will hear my wife say at the end she didn't know how to turn it off, LOL!

I usually don't just because the thread gets in my way and I like to place it buy hand so I can hold it back if need by like on cactus chenille. I only use it for chenille if I am using one of the auto bobbins and then I will unless I need hold it back.

I don't use that jaw much either and just mostly use the straight one it comes with.

Your filling it up and can't do more than that? Why don't you get some 140 diner using that auto bobbin? I load mine with a drill. If you use the 140 it will hold 2 times as much.

Does the 140 hold up to a little pressure? I'm kind of heavy handed.

What I do is when tying with 210 I will make either 4 or 5 warps and not care as I know it will synch up some. With 140 I almost never go 5 and try to make sure I do 4 wraps and be a little more careful as to how much pressure I put on it at the finish. I am heavy handed my self, but I I follow that 4 wrap rule and don't over do the pull at the end It's good. I also think the 140 Ultra thread is maybe a tiny bit stronger and others.

Thanks Fatman I appreciate that. I have an new HD web camera coming for something else, but it's supposed to also be able to make u-tube videos with it too.
