well i happend to find a good source for marabou feathers while with my mom at jo-anns fabric and crafts store she goes to alot.also found dotted guinea feathers in dif colors and got a pack .the price of a marabou boa is similar to the usual small sized pack of strung marabou,but the boa gives you way more material.i think its a good deal.i also found marabou boa's on amazon for decent price if anyone is interested. I bought several colors at hobby lobby too...Its a great price for the quantity,but I it takes alot more work getting the tips alined,, and not real colorfast..

It's ok but isn't the good grade of stuff. The tips aren't nice and pointy and I'd rather get exactly what I want from crazy angler.

I never buy boa marabou as it's not near long enough for me; at least the ones I have seen. I just think it's a waste, but that may just be me. Every once in a while I will go to hobby lobby mostly for some little plastic bags, but I hardly ever buy any of their feathers of find tying material that I would use.

Remember this is just my take and maybe some others do use their stuff, but I have enough tying materials I get from the places I buy from that I have pretty much stopped looking for tying materials there. If I miss something really good, it will not happen much so don't feel the need at all.

Hey Skip just don't forget all the Halloween wigs that we picked up last year. That was some good stuff. Well some of us got a good laugh and tied some jigs too.

i guess im not really concerned that much.i think this material will catch fish.thanks for all your input on it.i only did get one boa anyway.i mostly do small jigs like 1/64,1/80,1/100 so the length of feathers probly isn't goin be too little for my use.glad i got some of those wigs too :D.all i thought bout the boa is,i didn't hafta pay shipping for it which is good for a change lol.

Hey BXN Don't feel bad If you only knew how much I have spent on mistakes it would shock you. Will not list any but there are boxes full of mistakes that some one will have to take care of when this Old Man is gone . Some one will get a lot of treasure or trash. Just hope they enjoy it.

dont feel bad guys i bought a lot of craft feathers in my erly days but i havent bought any in about 6 or 7 years now and i still have a few jigs i make with the craft feathers i use the sides of long tail feathers to make some 1/32 jigs ill make a few n post some pics on the mater guys
