Quality salt or pepper shakers with small holes work well. Glass with metal lids seemed to work best for me because plastic would get staticy and clog up too often. Can't find really good ones with small enough holes though so I only have a tiny one I use for black, when I can find the darn thing. When I find the right ones again I will have them for every color. Easy to use and don't have to worry about changing colors.

you will find the small hole salt-and-pepper shakers in dollar stores or dime stores. We have no problem here. Also you may want to check out your junk stores. They do have quite a few old ones. Sometimes also you can make your own with little jars by drilling little holes in the lid.

I tried making them and the holes clogged up too much. Maybe it is just the humidity up here or worse the static in the air all the time. Who knows. Maybe thats why plastics didnt work.
