    Default Eyes

Is there any way to make acrylic painted eyes stay on? I tried glossing over it with hard as nails and some of em still chip away after a few fish. Is there a long drying period that may help this before hitting it with the hard as nails?

They should dry an hour in between layers of paint, then a couple layers of hard as nails.

You might want to try 2-D or 3-D eyes with a clear coat.

Never had any luck with vinyl... Humidity in louisiana is killer on curing.

I am sure you can also just buy some clear Vinyl paint and coat over the head. I use that especially if I am putting it over Chart or Fl Yellow as they don't take well to Sally's and the color changes with the Nail Polish.

revtoby I do all my painting inside in the AC ad don't have a problem with it curing, but it does take longer than nail polish for sure. It will take at least a day to dry really well and maybe a bit more at times especially if you dip them in it. I use a brush to apply.
