    Default ROTO-VISE review

Guys I recieved my Roto-vise this week from jigtosser. I was asked to give a review so here it goes.

    Roto-vise
$50 bucks shipped to my door
rotary with material holder and bobbin rest
Many improvments made by jigtosser to make this function and operate smoother.
    All steel construction

I have to say I am very impressed with this vise. Jigtosser had included some very simple and understandable directions on how to set it up and how to lock a hook down. I don't find a personal need for the rotary function a I wrap my chenille by hand faster and it's just a habit i guess. It is very nice to be able to turn the handle and see both sides of the jig. As you can see in the pics i did not set mine up horizontal but at an angle this gives your hand plenty of room to lay material when tying tails on. The construction seems to be made very well for the price it feels very solid. The locking jaw and release button work extremly well and holds a hook as tight as you could want. The neat thing is hit the button and the jig falls out into your hand. I tied a an order of 84 jigs on it yesterday and really got the hang of it. Overall I give this product a great review also give Jigtosser a great review for quick shipping and very informative.

Do you have pics of it? Does he have more for the $50 shipped price? I may be interested in one for that price.

The review is very kind but needs an addition. The vise table clamp is really crude and slightly undersized. I paint them and put on pads to make it look and function better. The bobbin rest sucks but I cannot help that, it needs to be longer and preferably adjustable in and out which would be a big asset in making dubbing brushes. If any of you come up with something please let me know.

Was just looking for pics to see what it looked like. Was not sure if it was a one time deal that he worked over a vice or if it was something he was doing for other and selling. If I seen pics and liked it and had an reply on if he was selling them I would then contact him by PM to purchase one. Sorry if I was out of line but did not think by what I asked for that I would need to contact the guy he got it from if he had just done it for him as a friend or if he was actually selling them. That is why I asked the way I did.
