    Default Tied a few with my new "Roto Vise" think Im gonna like


    this thing. powder painted with fluid bed, then painted eyes on, then tied up and coated with clear lacquer. maybe can catch a fish on them

    Glad you are enjoying your new vise. Most tiers do not "Even or cut" thetails like you do. I believe it will look more natural and appealing to crappie with the natural differing tail hair lengths.

    thanks ship, I guess that was just to makem look good for me how much longer should I leave the hair past the end of the hook ?

    maachuu your jigs look fantastic I would probably make the tail about a quarter of an inch more longer but the fish may like them just the way they are you did a fantastic job of painting eyeballs everything about your jig is number one.

    Just see how long you want your tail to be a cut the end you tying on the hook. Leave the other or business end natural.
