    Do you have to do anything to a blood hook before soldering it to a blade?

    I dont about a red hook but a gold hook you dont have too.....So I dont see why you would...

    with a bronze hook a little piece of 220 will knock off the bronze quickly so you can solder it, may have to do the same with the red hooks. then again you may not I have never tried it.
