Default Anyone seen the new Peak Light?

I have not bought one yet and want to know how well it works. I have a light, but I also know they went out of business right after I bought it so if it breaks it's dead I guess.

Anyway if anyone has seen the new Peak Vise I would love to know what you think of their new LED light. I have been thinking if I could find a bright enough LED one I would like it better anyway.

Is that the desktop lamp and magnifier?
If so, I had seen it somewhere and thought about it til I looked at the price....
    think it was $130
and decided I could do the same, if not more, for a lot less.

my eyes arent that bad yet

If you saw it how bright is it? I like mine alright, but it could be better so have been thinking about a new light for over a year now. Sure would like to know before I spend the bucks.

I use 3 of what's known as an "Ott Lite" from a craft store. They aren't cheap either and provide white light that works very well for me. There are standard socket bulbs at Hobby Lobby that will give the same kind of light that I use in one of mine. They aren't lens focused like an LED is but do the job. The other 2 I found at Goodwill for $10 each, about 20 to 25% of their normal cost. Like you Skip, I'll use em til they die and go from there. The magnifier looks like something I wouldn't use much, but great when needed.

Well I have not, but I think that Halogen Bulb would keep me away because if I am not mistaken they get hot and my room is colder in the winter and hotter in the summer so no extra heat allowed, LOL! I have look on line at several LED lights, but some of the older ones just are not bright enough.

Now on the one I am thinking about it has 300 Lumens as a LED light, now if I just knew what or how much that really is, LOL! I do like that it has an extra tool holder as I never have enough places to put tools since I have too many.

Had my light for a good many years and just found it had some Styrofoam packing material inside the cage protecting the bulb, LOL!

Cray, all three pieces, desk, drawers, and rack are available at Cabela's. Wife got me the desk and drawers and I found the rack, which has 3 drawers, from the flea market for cheap. Good setup for no more time than I have.
