Default Curing CSI Yellow Chartreuse issue

Today I attempted to cure some round heads that I coated with CSI Yellow Chartreuse powder paint. I loaded the rack and set the temp in the toaster oven at 350 and my egg timer for 25 minutes. After about 10 minutes I noticed the front of my oven was getting discolored..... I assume this was caused from the fumes of the yellow powder paint - (first time I have ever used this paint color) But I am not sure.

The yellow heads turned out fine - but the white ones I was curing with them turned a shade of yellow !!!! Since I am new to this color of PP - can someone who uses this paint let me know what could have caused this to happen? Also can I just reheat the white ones and redip in the white powder????

I didn't know that U had to cure powder paint. I am new at this, so I really don't know. I figured it cured as soon as it dried after dipping.

It's dry, but not a hard finish. Bake it. It'll reliquefy then harden and you're set.

That happened to my toaster oven too, don't feel bad lol. I have noticed some will off color other colors. So I leave at least 2 rungs of space between them or just do 1 color at a time.

I thought you had snuck into my house and taken a picture of my setup. I have that same oven and had the same experience. So glad I didn't use the wife's oven and had to listen to the ensuing punishment, not to mention having a $400 curing oven. Good pics for those learning.

I've never seen that happen with yellow chartreuse, but I won't say it can't just never personnally seen it.

Skeet - I use the oven all the time - only I have a deal with the wife that I clean it after I'm done.

It's not coming off of mine, I tried. I just live with it. The oven was less than $20, a deal compared to the marital conflict that would ensue.
