    Default Do-it roundhead mold question.

I was looking at buying a roundhead with barbed collar mold. I see they have a regular and a pro series mold. What's the difference and is it worth the money to buy the pro series?

    Thanks,
    Steve

I believe that in the pro series all of the jigs are the same size, or at least there are only a couple of different sizes in one mold. Do-It molds ganerally only have one cavity of each size in a mold, with several sizes in one mold.

As far as whether it is worth it - do you only want one size jig? Are you pouring for your own use or for production?

The pro series molds are all of one size and the pouring sprues are a little more exact which helps in production pouring. If you only fish one size of jig then the Pro model would probably be better for you, different sizes regular ones.
