Uni Thread 6/0 and 8/0?

Ok I'm fixin to get some more thread got some money from Christmas, and I have alot of Danville Danier 210....and sometimes my jigs still roll when I'm done other times they dont....but I also started tyin some flies and wanna try some new thread. I was wonderin is there something that the strength of the Uni can be compared to? I've found alot of it off of Ebay, but if you get yours some other place let me know. I'm just wantin the best and biggest bang for my buck!! Alot of the Uni thread on Ebay is on a 200yd spool.

For bigger warmwater flies (size 8 and up) and jigs, I almost exclusively use 6/0 Uni. I believe the 6/0 Uni is roughly equivalent to 140 denier Danville.
Personally, I seem to get less "roll" on my jigs using Uni.

i use 210 and never get the roll.

a good tight base rap is the key to no roll......all i use is 210 flat..love it

140 is good for smaller stuff, I use it on everything down to a size 14. For anything smaller I will use 6/0 because it is small but I HATE it because I almost always break it until I adjust back to using it.

The only time 210 will roll on me is if I don't get it tight enough or am using it on a nickel or other coated hook.

Thank you never thought bout the coated hooks bein my problem I think I just figured out why some of mine roll and some dont!! I think I'm still gonna try out some other threads though.
