Default Getting back into it, did I forget anyone?

This year has sucked, not fishing wise but life wise but those wounds will heal and we move on the wiser for it and hopefully never forgetting.

I know I received squirrel tails from at least one of you, if I have not sent anything in trade please let me know. Skip, I got you in mind still, don't think I forgot. I just haven't been tying anything for 3 months or so and hope now to get that vise back out and get stuff ready for spring.

flatfish, that special order chenille, the tutty fruitty bright one, has put 4 salmon and 1 steelhead on the bank this year, awesome chenille and everyone keeps asking what color it is. They can keep asking, only friends get to use the flies and jigs I tie with it. I will have to get my next color combination ready for the next order.

Anyway, time to get back into tying again, hopefully I will be here more often and life won't throw anything else at me for a long time.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

would like to see some of those steelhead patterns we are tying steelhead jigs up now for the snake River in outlying rivers offer the Columbia. Mostly white head blackbody and sometimes purple and black, but we've been tying up a bunch of new color combinations to see what the steelhead fishermen think I kinda like the combination of orange and black. Also I like real pale pink.

Thems the ones, nothing has hit anything in any other color this year. Not yet anyway. Going to be trying black and red and other dark combos probably this weekend.

These are the ones I hope will catch fish this winter. But then again, they are steelhead and hate me with a passion. Maybe if I keep telling them I am fishing for Coho I will catch a steelie or two.

The jigs at the top are eye catchers, for sure, and that pank, orangish, yellowish guy at the top called and asked for my line.
I noticed the eye rotation on the 2,3 and 4th pics. Mind if I ask the reasoning?
I can't fathom the work put into the the last two pics. I have no idea what to even ask first. ha
Good show and thx for sharing and making me think.

awesome looking jigs there. They should really knocked the steelhead dead were going to have to get with it to keep up with you, good job on those jigs. Your winter steelhead should be in down there, you see right around Christmas time. Have a good winter run on the coast it has been a long time since I've caught any steelhead down on the coast.
