    I tie a few for the stripers, or rockfish, or wipers, or whatever we're calling em today. I use a bit more stuff, and tie a white body with a bit of flash and a few blue or black on the point side to mimic a bait fish's Back colors. Olive would work too. I use a red collar a lot for the traditional look. A streak or two of red floss is also found in some commercial ties. I like a gray body too, but don't know if it produces. Those look good and will boat fish, I'm sure.

    Tie the following flies on jigheads: Clouser Minnow, Lefty's Deceiver and Half and Half (part Clouser and part Deceiver.)

    They are all very popular saltwater flies, so a Google or YouTube search should find them easily.

    Lookin Good ... Would use a little more hair ... The ties are coated with Epoxy ???? Sharp teeth cut threads ..

    Have you tried Nylon ?? Works great in this part of the world..
