    Default Don King Wig Jigs

I've been playing around with the Don King wig. Here's a few jigs I came up with.

They look good Scott......should look just like a minner in the water.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I like the colors but I don't expect much action in the water cause it's a little stiff. For slow trolling or spider rigging that wouldn't matter though.

Look like they will work. The ones I have tried and know they work were like I posted and just thread neck jigs with a couple strips of silver flash. This is the same type jig that Guide I know here uses a lot. He also has them a lot longer than most would use. If you look at craft fur or even select craft fur, he uses the full length of the hair as his tail. Some short tail guys here would probably faint if they saw his, LOL!

So Scott if nothing else tie a couple that just have a black head and thread neck (black) and the hair tail that is probably 3"-4" long and pass the hook a good bit and give them a try.

Skip, would something like this be what you're talking about? Thanks for the comments everyone. Ronnie, I'm sure that pic will show up from time to time. LOL

Yes, but I would make my thread in a shorter place, heck here is a pic...

However now I would just make my silver strips a bit longer than I did on this one from 4 years back.

Okay thanks, I think I get it now. I'll have to stock up my arsenal with some of those.
