Hello, I pour jigs for myself and make maybe 10-15 at a time for use. I'm useing a Lee's 2 oz. steel ladel with wood handle to melt clean pure lead in and pour. I use a propane torch under the ladel that sits on a stand. At first it melts and is nice and silver and clean, after a few pours and more lead added I get a scaley build up around the bowl and spout. The lead starts to turn a goldish scaley color on top but pour cleand and silver from underneth. When I'm don e and dump the lead out I'm left with a rusts/mud like residue that has to be scraped out. Any advice you can give ? -Thanks
