Wink Jigs... Not just for crappie.

Figured I'd post a few pics of some of my fishing this year. All these fish were caught on my own jigs. As you notice, the 'crappie' pics are missing... cause i guess i suck at crappie fishing anymore. Most pics are from my local river that i fish 5 days a week from noon to 1:00, when the water levels let me. :D Enjoy...

This LMB is from my local smalltown reservoir....

These gills were from a different local res... not caught on my own tied jigs, Jiggin Joe's "gillotine" jig takes the credits here.

This white sucker was actually caught on my flyrod, but i have caught some on my spinning gear also... anything flashy with white feather/fur is their jig of choice.

This was the first of this fish i have ever caught! I wanna catch more... put up a he!! of a fight - pound for pound! Thanks JungleJim for the ID help.

Man that is one strange array of fish you got there. I bet them small mouths were a lot of fun.

I like it! Good pics, and I agree with Skip, that is a wide variety of fish you've got there.

Good selection of fish. It's fun to catch different fish on your own jigs. Thanks for the pics.

Dang you are lucky. Bream Crappie and Largemouth Bass are about the only thing we get here. Would love to get in to some smallmouth. I would just about give a body part for a Walleye. Grass pike are the nearest thing to a northern pike we got. We do get alot of catfish but never caught one on a jig. Don't feel bad be happy some of us are jealious.

Looks like the jigs are a hit with everything in the water. I bet it was the expert tying job.

Yes, jigs are great -- the best artificial lure ever, IMO. They will catch anything in fresh or saltwater.

Glad you enjoyed the carp. I spent the weekend fishing for them on Lake Sinclair. They are incredible fighters!
