    Default my *kinda* first jig

Been working @ it, still crummy but I'm semi moving forward. First two were horrible, don't think a gar would take a second look @ 'em so I stowed 'em away under my mattress like they never existed.

Tied some others but not happy with them either, but I figured everyone always shares there first..
One good thing, I think I got my powder painting half way down.
Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Looks real good to me. The fish will eat that for sure. See if you can find some crystal flash and put a strand or 2 in there and dress it up some. Not necessary but adds to the overall appeal. I believe you're officially addicted. Good job.

thx much to all. Just want to get the basics down b/f I go buy colors I use regularly and the lead I want.
This kit didn't come with any colors I regularly use as far as marabou and dressings are non existant.
Thats hackle from a roadkill barn owl in the back there.... catch H1N1 and fish.

    thanks again

It just take a bit and some practice to get it so all of them will look good. I bet that will catch a crappie.
