Colors

Can someone please help me? I am looking to start making my own crappie jigs soon and I know how to make marabou jigs, and I also know how to powder paint jigs. I am going to be ordering materials soon and I want to know what colors are good for clearer water, and what colors are good for muddy and stained water. Please help? This is a great site and skip and azslabber, and ship i think is the third person, all make amazing jigs and all you other members make amazing jigs too, I am just looking for some help from all you amazing people. Thank you.

Hey Steven, welcome to Crappie.com. I personally like chartreuse, white, fl. pink and bright colors like that in clear or just stained water. If the water is muddy, I'll go with darker colors, black, blue, orange and stuff like that. That doesn't mean you can't catch em with charteuse in muddy water, but it just a general guideline.
