Another use for died badger is this from saddle hackle for blue gills. These are both the same jig and is 1/64 #8 hook and after tying it I wanted to add some red silk to just behind the head and this is what I got.
As an add in I wish that I had planned it so it would have looked better.

I also dyed a badger cape that will make some great collars.
You better hide all those good looking feathers. Ol' Lou (pet squirrel) will put them in his nest. LOL

Ha Nice tip! I just got back from being outta town for two for a wedding. Lou wouldnt come up to me when I walked in. He was mad at me for leaving him I guess. Hes just like a dang kid!Quote:

good-looking jig skip I enjoy seeing fly tying into jigs .
Rondon nice-looking jigs I especially like the colors they are not perfectly bright but they are perfect your style of jig looks terrific where did you get that minnow looking head from.
The blue and , when you get it, the gray would get a lot of use from me. Good lookin ties.
Skip, my buddies pond sunfish would tear up the one with the red. They're aggressive little boogers. Some of em with a mouth bigger than a quarter.
Boy Skeet I would have to take advantage of that for sure.
