    I was giving 13 cured deer tails today...how hard is it to dye them???

    Cool aid, vinegar and salt, boil and dry. Commercial dye, boil and dry. Is not hard, just messy. The whole thing will die with the brown taking on a darker shade of the color you are dying them.

    Somewhere there is a recipe on here but I can't never find it.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    Hair dye works the best of any dye I have tried. GABULLDOG turned me on to using this. Black is the hardest color I dyed and with hiar dye it came out just as dark as I wanted and does not fade. Just my 2 cents wirth.
