That's a great lookin' jig Snake!
Almost identical to the Hal-Fly, so much so that you may want to make sure you're not infringing on their patent if you should decide to sell them. Not trying to stir anything up, just saying as a friend.
A great winter time color in that style jig is a red head, green body, and yellow tail.
don't know if I am not infringing on anybody's rights. But there is quite a few manufacturers that are making the same type of lower. I understand fully what you are trying to do and help me out before I get myself in trouble and thank you for that. We will look into this matter.
Snake how did you slide the plastic over the feather?
I did not slide the plastic over the feather. I used a regular sack needle that type the type that you sew up a potato sack. I put the feather in the eye of the needle and Paul the feather through the body. Then I cut off excess feather put it on the jig head and super glue it. We will have a announcement to make regarding this on main post next week.
Very nice bait Bob, as always.
Good looking bait. That style was a mainstay for everyone in FL when I was younger. Still see em on the shelves. Nice work.
these jigs are exactly what i want to get into....
