    Default My Pin Min versions

Boat conversion project on hold for seat platforms so I had to find something to do.

Note the jig hooks instead of straight hooks on some of the smaller ones. Sometimes they like a horizontal presentation better. Using a jig hook on the pinmin does that easily. I tried this trick many , many moons ago ice fishing. Just this little difference saved me many times ice fishing. If I see a lot of fish on the flasher and no takers I switch to the horizontal ones.

Sometimes it don't make a difference but it does often enough to make sure I have some along. The smaller jigheads with spoons on are not my idea. Someone else on here was using them behind a plug. I liked the idea so much I made some to try for walleye and crappie thru the ice this year.

As Skip and others have told you they do work in open water also. Panfish specialists here in Ohio use them year round. They seldom get skunked on their pinmins.

I make several different types and buy other styles as well. Never seem to have enough of them

Looks like your ready! I have never been around enough Ice to fish in and don't think I am going to try that, but it does seem your ready for sure. Only Ice I have had I usually cursed as we had an Ice Storm when I was still living about 100 mile South of here, but still freezing rain turned that place into what looked like a war zone. Hate driving in Ice too.

Very nicely done my friend. Those will definitely work at Berlin, West Branch, Mogadore and even Wingfoot. I still do both vertical and horizontal pinmins. They are not just for ice anymore. People use them year round. Great work. Go Browns!

Those look great Hays. Some fine workmanship. I bet they would be killer on the gills.
