    Default Lead Ban

Has there been any news on the lead ban? Thinking of buying some molds, but don't want to waste a lot of money.

They turned it down but theirs still gonna be some fighting. Now it's up to the states, and some are restricting the use of or trying to ban

I'm new here and just found this thread. I agree that the enviromentalists are going to keep on trying. They have already succeeded to some extent with bullets, and of course shotgun shells. And all of the major bullet manufacturers have jumped on the band wagon and are now making non lead bullets. I think they can see the writing on the wall. What amazed me a couple of weeks ago was the huge increase in the price of fishing sinkers. At least in my area anyhow. In Oregon and Washington we have Bi-Mart stores. I was in the one where I live a couple of weeks ago and saw that the price of 1 (One) 10 oz. bank sinker is $4.49. No that's not a mistake, $4.49. 2 (Two) five ounce bank sinkers are $4.39. I don't know why they have gone up so drastically in price, but they are getting to be like gold. If you have any lead laying around, hold onto it. I know that some of the sinker manufacturers are now making non-lead sinkers too. Maybe they are pricing the lead ones out of sight so people will buy the non-lead, I don't know. I don't know what the non-lead ones sell for, but they probably aren't cheap either.

What state were you talking about? Yeah it's the 1/8th ounce of lead we should worry about when Dow chemical is pouring deadly chemicals into our streams lol Here they say not to eat fish more than twice a week because of the chemicals from them. :|
