Default Anyone here tie with silk much?

Just asking as I learned of some not too long ago that is at pretty good price and bigger spools, well more yards.

Anyway not anything most would care about as it's still not near cheap, but for some that like tying with silk and maybe ties more flies I would maybe have interest in this.

Anyone that fits this just PM me and I will tell you all about it.

FYI......I am not selling it in any way, I just bought some and think it's pretty nice deal.

I've seen some KILLER wet flies tied with silk, but have never tied with any myself. I'm more into floss and Uni-Stretch...

You might want to post this over at FAOL too, as alot of the guys use it for wet flys and soft hackles.

I would, but feel sure Denny has told any of them that use it. He is where I got this from. He uses it for his rod making as his jig tying. It's all he uses and the best part is even though it's high when compared to thread, it's not near as high as what you see in shops and the spool is big at 200 Meters each.

I really didn't figure anyone here other than maybe you and a couple more would have any interest anyway. I am sure not selling it or getting in between silk and any tiers interested and just wanted to post as an FYI.

    Thanks though,
