    Default Mepps,Eat Your Heart Out

I should'nt say that, they started it all.I took this out without the treble attached to check out how it runs.Just in an Urban Lake here in the city.WOW,had about 10 really hard hits.If I would have had my tackle box with me I would wired on a hook, lol.I know it is good.Just waiting on my new slipring pliers to get it finished. It is from a 3/8 oz. fish spinner bait, with the wire removed right after pouring. Was trying to make it look like a shad.Must have done it right.Put on a #4 fluted blade then a size 1 Indiana blade in the front.Tied the size 6 treble with grey kip to match the body.I think that the 1/8 oz. with a size 1 willow blade and a size 8 treble, all else the same will kill the crappies and gills.I had bucktail tied to the collar, but was too long.I think the hair on the treble did the trick.I cut off the collar.Worked good fast.slow, even buzzed across the top.Ver loud.
