Default Best glitters for what color PP

I guess the first question is will glitters work well in fluid beds? If not this really doesn't matter all that much.

I want to use glitter more and more and I need some input on what color glitter works best with and more importantly shows the best with different colors of PP. Being able to mix glitter with my most used colors to get the mixed colors I want would be so much easier than painting each and every one and tapping more paint onto them to get the speckled/mixed color look I want.

That is what I like and I want to be able to do this with yellow, orange, pink, red, purple and black having a nice broken pattern from the glitter.

If glitter is not the best choice should I be able to mix say a black with a red 50:50 and get the desired effects?
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

I don't have a fluid bed,but if the glitter is extra fine it might work. Most glitter is heavier than powder. If you want glitter to show up really well on your jigs then my first choice would be mix it with clear powder. Second would be a transparent powder like a candy color. Mixing black and red together would probably create a darker red. I'd dip the red first and brush the black over that.

    Hey Fish 4 All,
I use glitter on almost everything I powder paint. I mostly use a clear coat mixed with different glitter colors to get the effect I want. Most glitters works great in a fluid bed with a little occasional stirring .I get all my glitter from here.http://www.tjstackle.com/ I get all my clear by the pound here.ColumbiaCoatings.com - Your source on the web for high quality powder coating paint and supplies. Hope this helps................Ifish

Fish for all those are beautiful jigs! I've tried glitter and diddn't like the results. I like the paint brush for the second and even a third color. Takes a long time to do a bunch of jigs but looks good.

I am thinking that a shaker for the paint is gonna be my go to method with no one really have good luck with getting a speckled look using fluid beds and a single dip. Have to ask though so I don't make a bunch of them and be disappointed with waisted paint.

I just don't have a steady enough hand to shake paint from a paint brush and get speckled instead of blotchy. Sometimes I dont care but a lighter sprinkling will work much better in a lot of my needs.
