    Default Hair Stacker Question

:oCould someone illistrate how to use a hair stacker. I'm not using all of the hair on the WAPSI bucktail pieces. I don't like to chop off the ends and make them square, but usually the bucktails are pretty thin on the ends. I want the natural look. It seems as if I'm wasting a lot of hair. In another post someone mentioned using a hair stacker to utilize the remaining hair. Does a hair stacker make the hair look more natural or what. As you can see, I'm in a fog and don't know what to do......HELP

Lots of buck tail is long and you will need to cut a good bit off. If you are ever going to spin deer hair you could save the longest stuff for that? With spinning it you will not have any tips anyway as you cut it all to shape after it spun on and tied off.

On the stacker, after you cut the hair to length place it in the stacker with the cut end down inside it and them just slam it on a table or something 2-3 times to make all the hair equal as to it's starting place. You usually don't want the other end, the business end all the same anyway.

Try kiptail instead of bucktail for small jigs, you do waste a lot of material with bucktail. Just my .02.
