Feathers getting harder and harder to get what

You want. Just made an order for a bunch of stuff and one thing I wanted was about 12 saddles in different colors in the Dyed Over White China Sub Saddles. I got one and that is all they had with no thinking they would be able to get more. I wanted 12 & got 1, crud!

Then he told me the jewelry people were buying up feathers like crazy. I happened to tell him I bought some Jungle Cock Capes, one I told you guys about and then when I found out where he got them I called and got 2 more Grade #1 Jungle Cock capes and I was thinking about selling one, but this guy just said they were not going to be able to get any more them them either. Told him well maybe I will just keep all 3 Jungle Cock capes. No telling what is next, but I am going to add some extra feathers for my tying. Guess many I need to get more pounds of stuff?

So what the heck, guess I will try to stock up a bit more on the good stuff.

LOL, Yeah I can't go with here being better them them guys. I have seen more and more people using feathers. I almost started making feather ear rings a couple years ago and even have a friend in that kind of business and she has been after me to tie her some to sell.

That is funny - my wife thinks my jigs with the feathers and flash would make great ear rings!

Have you tried Barlow's? Recently, I ordered stuff from Crazy Angler and the service and product were both excellent.

Once I started selling them I only uses Barlow's if desperate for a color or something. I do buy some from Crazy Angler, but I buy a lot of my stuff wholesale.

Crazy has good reasonable prices and easy to deal with plus Robert is a nice guy!

I have dealt with Barlow's for years. I think that when I first dealt with them they were Limit, or something like that. But I am not in the business of selling jigs.
