    Default Tin Horse Heads

I got some horse heads from sac-a-lait that he pours using tin. They stay shiny so all I did was use a dot of black NP for eyes. A 1/4 oz size just weighs about 1/8 oz.

I've seen his tin jig heads before, If Vermont keeps it up about lead fishing lures I'll probably me making em too, unless I go with pewter. but even the tin is running 11-15 bucks a pound!!!!!

    Default Tin

Well. Massachusetts is going lead free Jan. 1, 2012. On any inland fishing lures 1 ounce and smaller.

I looked at lead alternatives a few years ago and bismuth was the closest thing. Most bismuth comes from China, Mexico and Peru .It is mostly a byproduct of lead and tin mining. I think you will see the whole country lead free in 10 years. Just one law change can have some major implications.
