    Default New Anvil Atlas Vice

I just got my new Anvil Atlas Vice and can't stop tying. What a pleasure. I called last week and talked to Don & Dave Vogel at Anvil USA in Columbus, IN. Dave is the designer of the vice. Such a nice guy to talk to. He assured me, if I ever needed parts or service just give them a call. They told me they don't retail but gave me the names of two places where I could purchase. I choose Fly Masters in INDY. Talk a bout a real treat. Such a nice store and people who really care about you and what you want and need, and the difference.
The Anvil Atlas is a true Rotary vice and oh what a difference it makes to tie on it as compared to the starter vice I had. I know I'm still learning and have a long way to go, but believe now it's going to be more pleasure than before.
    Just a couple of samples:
I have some new powder paints and glitter ordered so as soon as it gets here I'll cook some new jig heads and do more tying and post the new new pics.

Great looking vise and jigs too CP. I have a vise on the way myself, a Griffin Oddessy Spider Vise. Hope it does Ok. I'm still using my little starter and I'm sure a rotary will take some getting used to.

nice-looking jigs and the vice that you have looks pretty fancy it looks a lot like a water Fossett that I have in my kitchen sink:Dthey're just pulling your leg but it is definitely a nice looking piece of equipment. How much do they cost.

Nice vise and nice jigs. I looked hard at one of those but got a super deal on a Renzetti traveler that I couldn't pass up. You'll learn fast and turn out some good work off of it.

Actually I don't know of any good brand of higher end vise that is not a life time warranty. Looks nice.

People that have not tied on a Rotary know this, you can tie on a Rotary and not use the rotary feature if you don't want to. It just allows you access to 360 degree look at what your tying and if locked in place it's not turning.
