    Default Some big fish jigs

Well they are not not big jigs but they are for big fish, steelhead mainly. Hopefully my new custom chenille will make a difference this year and let me put a couple of these big boys on the dinner table.

If I remember right they are 1/8 ounce, might be 1/16th and on super strong monster fish rock solid hooks. Chenille is my custom order, marabou tail and PP head.

I will be tying up some bigger ones today for cloudy water. Will post when done and I get good pictures of them.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Man they look like you better have some good line on your reels. Great job tying them and I love the PP job on the heads.

The jigs are nice and I like the colors that you used, great job with the chenille. I would not want to get that hook in a finger

Nice looking jigs, the steelies should pounce on them. I was going to ask about the heavy duty short shank hooks but you already answered that.

Where you heading for steelies??? Haven't fished them for years.
