Default putting vinyl paint over power paint take a look

we posted this picture is to show you what vinyl paint looks like over power paint we have clear coat vinyl over-the-powder paint[/IMG]. As you noticed it makes the 3-D eyes pop out more distinctive also look at the body the way it looks you will notice the way that the vinyl paint will make it blend in the colors.

Have done that a lot Bob. I usually put clear nail polish over the heads when I paint eyes, but on a couple colors it is not good (FL yellow & Chart) so I started using clear vinyl over them and does a good job. I just paint it on with a brush and it levels well enough you can't tell the difference.

The only difference is I coat the entire head except for the eyes and still get the same finish as dipping it. I just don't see the need to clean the eye out again and no need to with a brush and I can get it as thick as I need or want it. No real difference in that and dipping for the important things and I don't need to worry about the drip from the dip.

It takes at least a full day for it to cure completely. It dries to touch pretty fast, but it's not cured yet and that only come from time hanging there. It will even get tighter around the eye and head in general after that day or so and you can see the difference.

one of the reasons why I put vinl over the eyes is to help them stay in tact on the jig head.
