Mixing marabou and duck. Hints of flash buried in body. Clousers continue to be my favorite jig/fly to tie.
I probably would tie them even if they didn't work.

what did you seal your head with? i usually seal mine with head cement or sallly hensens hard as nails nail polish...

River slabs....this may help you some. There is a thread on this forum somewhere that has a video on how Bob Clouser does the epoxy head finish on the clouser. I would recommend you take a look at it.
