My brother came down from Arkansas to do a little Texas crappie fishing last week..Here is a sample of what we caught from 6 to 8 pm one afternoon (with wind gusts up to 40 mph )..All caught on my hand tied jigs... The smallest is 10 1/2"...We fished from the bank..

It ain't nuttin but luck.
He lives on Lake Brewer but I had to give him some lessons..LOL jk ( Besides,I am Ark.born and raised )
I know what its like to get a lesson. I have fished Brewer many times for bass, I was born and raised in Russellville. I live across the river in Dardanelle now. Lake Dardanelle has been a crappie paradise this year in numbers and size. I thought it was the dead sea untill this year.
