Here is what I am going to be catching my big boys on this year. 1/16 and 1/8 oz cast with Do-It crappie spinner bait mold. Used rabbit on some , marabou on some and lots of rubber legs. Size 2 Indiana and Colorado blades. Did really well on these many years ago. The guy that used to pour the heads for me died many years ago.

I don't know how long Do-It has been making this particular mold but I sure wish I knew about it sooner. I have been doing without these for about 20 years. The really big crappie love these things unfortunately the green carp also jump on them.

These normally work best right after spawn. In ponds with big crappie they are absolute killers. I normally like to slow troll with EM through a stumpfield with these on lakes.

Only difference in the old days I stuck a plastic tail on them . I think with the ties they will work even better.
