    Default Baby Gill Heads

These lil suckers are thin! And can be boogers when pouring. The top 2 are 1/64 with #8 sickles. Size 10 or 12 would be better but 8s are the smallest I have at the moment. Next is 1/50th with #8. Then 1/32 with a #6 and the bottom has a #4 round bend. I started using this style heads a few months back and liked all the surface area on these heads allowing for a nice paint job. They come alive with paint and eyes. And, like everything else I do, I went a lil overboard and now have molds from 1/8th to 1/64th in them! :o

Awsome work! Love those 1/64's & 1/50's. I lean towards using jigs with an accurate profile/shape and those fit the bill. Now if i could just get a color to match gills in my area the crappie would tear something like that up......

I do like the ones with a little bigger hook myself (last in the row with the round bend) more room to tie something on them, but maybe JMO??? Maybe i just like fish with bigger mouths! :D

Default Full frontal pic for Doc!

Ok that sounded kinda bad. Anyway they are about as thick as a penny. The top one was a quick attempt at a gill. The 1/64th is one of my fave gill colors fl yellow and red.
