One of my jigs

Seen alot of tyers here so i thought id post one of my jigs since you guys like barbless jigs.
This is the first aspirin type head mold i made. Im not sure of the size but looks like about an 1/8 or a tad heavier and should be a #4 hook. The mold had some flaws .007 out of allignment but poured a nice head its made offset alot to accomidate smaller hooks for compact jigs/bodies. I couldnt figure out how to manually make the barbs on the mill so i made 2 barbless molds before moving on to the cnc to make some with barbs. The mold was tough to separate without handles and flat sides. I still dont have a bottom pour pot up n running so i didnt pour any of the other sizes as they have really small pouring gates. Sorry if the pic is a tad big.
The jig in the background is a do-it double barb 3/32 i poured today also.

You can re size you pictures at photobucket and store them there as well. I am trying to decide if this is an ad or if you are just showing your things? If your selling post them on the swap meet board. SO is this to sell something or not?

Nice head, would make some good bucktail jigs.


Skip - He's been on here for awhile now. Everyone on here (including yourself) posts pics of what they are currently working on just to show off what they are proud of..... Are you selling those jungle cock feathers - or whatever they are? Not trying to jump on your back and say you did something wrong by posting any of your pics, just want you to see that we ALL do it. No bad intentions! To me, showing off is half the purpose of the entire crappie.com site! No mention of price..... Give the poor guy a break, he was .007 off!! :rolleyes: :D :D

No not selling. Just info and ideas for those those who can appreciate the trouble and may choose to try and make their own lures possibly.
It wasnt off because of me:D, it was off becuase of how worn the mill was. The cnc'd ones are alot better and they after got a digital readout for the manual mill which would have made things alot closer.

Look if you have some opinion that you wish to say why not say it unless then it would be a personal comment which is not allowed on C.C?

Just being vigilant as to what kind of post is on here as is my job. Ads are not allowed be anyone. If you wish to question my intent maybe you should PM me or keep out of it. Kind of funny you show up on every questionable post to express some opinion that doesn't concern you or to take a shot.

Thanks for letting me know as I really couldn't tell the purpose of the post. I felt it probably was showing or a question about what you were doing, but I just couldn't tell so I ask. I feel it's better than I just delete it so thanks for letting me know what I needed to know.

Since I don't really pay a lot of attention to post about molds I really didn't know what you were doing before.

OH an BTW, I like the heads.

Are you making the mold or did you buy it? I ask because it seems like you could do the same thing and have a little extra metal in the middle to make eye sockets?
