    Default First Sac-au-Lait w/mine

This is my first Sac with one of my Jigs...only fish caught....farm pond, raining, under a cork 6ft deep.

Jig 1/32 , pink marabou, Spun bamboo yarn body from hobby lobby...the yarn is not a twisted type it looks like dubbing and i love it.

Thats one of the best feelings in the world to catch a fish on something you made yourself. The first is always the hardest the rest will come easier. Congrads May you catch many more and may the wind be always at your back.

Don't get any better than catching on on what you made. Good Job!

But I have to ask what is the heck is that minnow looking thing in the first pic that is right in front of the bottom fish near his mouth, LOL! I just thought that was so funny, sorry!

I know the feeling believe me. That is a good Sac-au-crappie.
The ones I caught I kept in a 5 gallon bucket, they were a bucket-au- crappie. I was in La. a lot in my last business and I didn't have a clue what they were talking about when they said sac-au-lait. Isn't that just a crappie with a french accent? Way to go

It's gotta be a rush making your own baits and seeing results like that from it. Congrats.
