First efforts. Can't wait to get em slimy!

Here's some pics of my first jigs. I actually tied several of most of these, about 20 in all for yesterday's first foray into the jig tying world. Here they are!

The first is a purchased lure, a Shineee Hineee that originally had silver tinsel chenille that I overwrapped with blue to match what's hot at Lake Leon.

Next is a small Electric Chicken I can't wait to use, chart chenille, pink marabou and a few strands of flashbou.

Next is my version of a Shinee Hinee orangish head, blue wrap, will dye the tail in Spike It with a few silver tinsels for flash.

Pretty in Pink with a little flashbou.

Red, white, n blue. Red and blue threads in the tail for a lil' contrast.


I'm definately open for hints and tips, but go easy! This is my first batch, and I don't use a vice. Just my hands. Gonna keep practicing, but I'm really enjoying it so far! Can't WAIT to try a few and catch my first fish on a hand-tied jig!
