Sad day in pbug land

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my son passing. he was 8ths old. Not a minute goes by any day that hes not in my mind. Its so hard some days to just move. My kids are my life. I was army ranger for 10 years i loved my job, spent 2 tours in afganistan, 3 little 6 mth spans in haiti, and 3 yrs over the ocean in iraq. !0 years of my life spent away from my kids. My oldest son is 13 hes the reason im out of the military, he missed his daddy. What im saying is just spend so time with your kids even if its a hr watching barney or the wiggles just spend the time. Because i dont want noone to go though the pain that i have of not seeing your kids. I see people everyday just pawn their kids of on who ever. When there gone trust me there is so much you wished you wouldve done with them...and so much that you want to tell them.. I would give my life for 10 more minutes with my son...So just take this for what its worth, spend time with a kid even if its not yours..........take 10 minutes to change your life and theirs.....


so today is a daddy tying jigs with his kids day....probably use my hair that i pull out to tie a jig lol

I can not begin to know how you feel, and couldn't imagine being without my own son. We are here for you whenever you are down my freind.

I can't even imagine what you have been through. Losing your son had to be one of the hardest thing that could happen. I almost found that out, but mine was much older and a Green Beret by then so not even the same ting at all, but I know how that was so can see that your road was much harder.

I do appreciate your service and I thank you for that. I am glad you were able to get out and spend more time with family as that is probably one of the most important things we can do as parents and husbands.

God Bless Ya man!! That's gotta be the toughest thing in the world...to lose
a son or daughter, there is no answer for that. I thank you for your service to our country and hope that your life now is filled with blessings and good stuff. I think we all wish later in life we'd spent more time with our kids. I
know I do. I was out "chasing the buck" to provide a good life for them, however the time I missed with them and all their school functions was a poor
trade. You da man for spending time with them now and tieing jigs with them,
man, it doesn't get any better than that!!

Don't even know what to say, have a 4 and 7 year old........ Can't imagine life without them. My heart goes out to you.

guys thank you for the kind words... i also chased that buck alot.... thats why i said more or less im done i wanna be my own boss thats why im trying at a bait store/ fishing store, so i can be there more....for my kids....!!
