Default Need a little help on a video, Please!

I have been trying to make a really short video of my self tying one jig. I did that and it was not long at all to me, probably less than 2 minutes. Now for my trouble, it ended up being 27.7 MB and too large to upload to photobucket and too large for me to even send in email. I tried it first using my Sony cam corder, but can't figure how to then get it on my computer as it is on tape.

So have done it two times and can't do anything with it. Actually wan hoping to make a longer one showing a bit more, but dang I can't get this short one even usable.

Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me with what ever you may know I can do.

Do you have the Sony data transfer cable for your camera? It has a funny little shaped plug end that plugs into your camera and a USB plug on the other end.

I use one of these to transfer all my pics and vids from my Sony camera to my puter.

Edited to say: Use your Sony Cyber shot in the vid mode.

The camera you recorded it on for the digital format, can you adjust the quality of the video through the menu on the device? They sometimes allow you to do it, just makes the size (resolution) smaller the same as a lower MP setting on a digital still camera. Would just have to watch on your comp to see how it looks with it "dumbed" down.

If your camcorder is not too old, it may have a video output (DVI maybe, can't remember for sure without looking it up) that would go straight to your computer, but you may need some kind of video editing software to record it into digital format. They also sell a special cord where you can plug regular RCA (the red-white-yellow cords) in one end and has USB cable on the other for the computer. You still need the software though.....

At the 27MB size, you should be able to put it on youtube. Don't know nutin bout Photobucket.

Tried to load it from camcorder with that cable and computer didn't even recognize it and did one on my Cyber Shot and that is the one that is 27.7MB. Sill at PB it stops at 60% and then nothing. Really don't want to Youtube it, but may have to.

    Thanks,
