The point of the hook is farther away from the body of your jig, hense better hooking ability.

They work in all my molds. I've had several though where the length from the eye to the first bend is a little long. I save these for other molds that they'll fit into.

Lazer was working with the owner of the Sickle hooks and a bunch of us sent our messed up ones to him to show to the owner.

how well do the sickle hooks work in the round head jig mold? cause my mustad 570 hooks arenot quite long enough before the 1st bend in my round jig mild and when i try to pour round head jigs using my mustad hooks the dont even look good, they look off sidedbut the eagle claw 570 hooks work just fine is it my mold or my hooks but the hooks are working in my other molds

What mold are you talking about?

Usually don't have problems with the Mustad 32756 vs. the EC 570. The old style VMC 9147 is better than both - new (since they sold out) are about the same.
