Default A few new ones from the novice

After being away from the ole vise for a week it is time to get back at it.
The first one is from an old wild turkey tail I had laying around. Just something different for me. I don't know if any self respecting crappie would put that in his mouth or not. These are all 1/16 oz. I went back and looked at my first posted pics and I have to say that I have improved, and I was really proud of those first ones.

I made this one for a dark cloudy day, I don't have any idea what it is supposed to look like but it's going on my next (tomorrow) fishing trip.

I have a friend that I met on the lake today and I had only one like this one and I gave it to him, he tied it on and beat my butt really good, like 5 to one, so I made 10 more like it.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

Good lookin jigs, Ray. Pink n white is a classic color combo, no doubt it worked well. Thats a real nice jig, bet it took a while to tie. I tie lots of unusual combos but wait to find out if they work well or not before tying more of the same.

Hey nothing wrong with your jigs and that top two should be good on a dark day or a lake with stained water.

I like the top one the best. They all look good and that top one would catch a lot more than bass here.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Does not look like "novice" work to me... you need to upgrade your title! Nice clean work!

    Default Novice?

You are out of the novice category! Very professional job of tying! All of these will definitely put fillets on your plate.
