Default More Gill and Cracker tying

Another snow day yesterday so I tied a few more lures. I hope the nymph type baits work well, I sure know they look pretty good to me. I'm glad I'm not a fish, I'd be already cooked or on someone's wall.

Mepperson how did you do that brown and yeller one, far right second down. I like it alot, wouldn't mind tying some up this weekend. Yellow, and black always kills the gills :D.

Good looking jigs and flys, you shouldn't have any problems catching them with those.

I have squirrel tail under black chinille, then I tied the yellow in the throat of the hook and ran it straight to the eye and tied again. I hope it holds because it is essentially just tied at the ends.

    Thumbs up Nice.

mepperson, You have it nailed. At least the Ky Lake gills won't have a chance.
Great selection of ties .Top two on the left. Could you share where you got the grub bodies?
I fished down there one time out of Kentucky Lake Beach Resort. Don't quote me on that name, just one of the thousands of resorts.
Note- I'll see if I can find the location of an ole fella that sells big red worms, all kind of bait and birdhouses on a backroad. Real nice feller. I was so impressed with his worms I now raise my own. He would show you how to keep your own worm bed. I'd just love to get back down there someday .
PM me a mail add. and I'll send a couple pinches of ice dub, peacock, black. if you don't have it local. All the advantages of peacock herl in a dub. Thanks for the pictures. ole giller
