    Default Is Colorfull GOOD ???

Hitting a crappie lake next weekend for some night fishing. It's only an hour and a half away.lol.Compared to the best lakes being 3 hours away. That's why I catch mostly bass and gills around here. With the weather over a 100 now,it's time for night fishing already.I need to catch some crappie, the green carp are getting on my nerves, lol. These were some of RonDons 1/8 oz. gills with a size 4 sickle that he poured.

i would say colorful is good.a bright yellow tail works nicely around by me!bright orange should be good as well.bring some kind of bright light to shine in the water.help the fish see the colors at night.i recently read about doin this sort of thing.never tryed it myself yet tho.i have caught crappies after dark with white thread body, yellow head, and yellow tail,as well as red body/yellow tail, red body/green tail.i haven't been out in the boat yet this year, and spring is pretty much gone...good luck!

If a man had some of them tied on a 1/8 oz football head with about a 1/0 black nickle hook in them they would make a GREAT SMALLMOUTH JIG for the lake or river...that's a great color pattern around here too....Good Fishin'....

Very colorful. Should attract some fish.

Personally I use a lot of darker colors at night so have a good silhouette.

Here are a couple I use...

Those are good looking jigs azslabber. I've got 100 ordered from RonDon now. Can't wait to get them now! I can't help you on the night fishing though, have never tried it. Skeeters are too bad around here. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Bout time you did something with those heads! For night, id sprinkle a little glow on some to try. I like larger profiles like that for night fishing and also try your black n gray at night! Im digging the mono wrap by the way.

I would say that is a nice-looking jig especially those colors.
