    Thumbs up Crappie Kippers

Last week I bought 200 pink jigs from a member. They were 1/24th ounce on what appears to be a #4 hook with a pearl black finish. These hooks are SHARP. I got to piddling with them and decided to try some kiptail jigs with them. I stripped some and changed colors. I removed the entire collar on this batch.
I'm not much of a crappie guy, keeping busy chasing the gills most of the time.
I am hoping that if I can get some of these in front of a half blind, starving crappie, it will think one is dinner. lol
I don't have silver or grey paint, same in kiptail, so there will be more patterns. I kept these in sets of 5 till after testing. ole giller

Nice set of ties you have there and good color combo's. No reason why crappie and bluegills shouldn't hit those. If you want a few that look bulkier tie them the same way on the collar of lead. Either way is fine.

Those appear to be Crappie Pro jig heads. If they are, you will love the hooks. Larry (the owner of Crappie Pro) makes a great jig head with awesome hooks. Good lookin' jigs, btw.

Thank you all for the nice comments..
I am just all kinds of excited to find out the jig style source. Can't thank you enough for the tip SandwichMaker.I bought these as a one time deal from another party. Those black coated hooks are the sharpest I've been around.
I tie lots of 1/80 on #8 kiptail jigs for bluegill ,so this was naturally an enjoyable tie for me.
Fatman, Thank You, I did tie a couple on the collar, but with a taper away from the head, I laid just a bit of head cement on the base thread.
Redear- Not for sure what I will tip these with. BUT, I like tying these--I like looking at them over on the bench, lined up like an attack fleet. If I have to, I'll tip them with T.N.T. :D:D
    Thanks again all, ole giller
