    Default 1/100 and 1/80 jigheads

I have got some off of ebay, and I paint some yesterday and tied a few jigs w/ them. But I was wondering do anyone of ya'll that tie some that small do you chenille to wrap as the body or do you just use the thread, bucktail or marabou for the tail? I've also been usin sally's hard as nails, but was thing bout tryin something else that kinda of make it like a epoxy/lacquer finish on the thread...thoughts?
    Thanks,

I tie a bunch of both and I use whatever comes to mind. I try not to use chenille that is bigger than a size 2 on them though, usually a size 0 and even dubbing.

Just use your imagination. I do some chinelle jigs . Most all of mine are gawdy patterns because that works for me for bluegill.
The ones I done in the pictures are 1/80 on #8 .
Short red tail has been good to me in the past. These are strands from the lower side of a red feather.
Red Zonker (rabbit) is better if you have it.
I also have some similar patterns with hackle if you wish to see them. Illinoisgiller
Note--Led Hed has some VERY nicely done patterns.

Love your jigs Giller! I hear the red tails are great for bluegill as a black gnat is suppose to be a #1 gill fly.
