    Default Road runner style jigs

I reworked my molds for my version of a road runner style jig. It is a pain to tie with the swivel in the way, but They came out pretty good for a first try! The pink and white is about 3/32 oz and the others are just over 1/32 oz. The dark colored one I put a #8 sickle hook in it . I've always thought these would be great for bull gills, but I could never find them with a smaller hook than #6. Tested them in the fish tank and they looked good. Nice spin with very little speed. Just how I like it for slow reeling.

I hate tying them too, first couple I tried to do with the blade still on. Lesson Learned! :D It was a little easier if I put the jig in with the swivel side down - upsidedown for how I would do a reg. jig - swivel hung down and didn't seem to get in the way as bad.

Really like the small dark one, looks like it has a sorta iridescent bronze color.

I fish a Stump Jumper with a weed guard in the Spring for Crappies and don't see why those great looking lures wouldn't work also.

They look good!!!!!!!!!! The only thing I don't like about the new non collared mold is that they have 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. The amount of metal on each side makes it hard to use smaller hooks but they can be dremeled to make them fit right.
