    we've been messing with power paint especially with the glitter and power paint clearcoat.

    Bob I love this jig" I have three colors i use this same very way ,it also adds lots of rough texture to the feel of the jig"Super jig !

    thank you Rob we enjoy messing with clear power paint and glitter there is a wide variety of glitter in colors. we've been working with the sunfish jig they look fantastic with the glitter we will post a picture when I get a few more of them painted .

    That jig is awesome! Do you paint it with the tail on it? If so can you share how you do it?

    we start by wrapping the marabou on with thread we build up from the head back to the tail with a taper. Then we heat the jig up and dip it in clear power paint put it back over that gun then dip it in glitter then put back over gun warm up that jig then dip it in clear power paint again then put it back over gun again. Now if you are using 3-D eyeballs you can glue them on or pressed him on and then stick them in clear vinyl paint. Or you can paint your eyeballs on do not put in oven. You will have a mess this is how I built that jig you can do the same process but do not put the feathers on then you can put it in the oven. Good luck to you guys:D
